Tolerant of high heat and humidity, Tagetes patula Hot Pak™ Spry (French Marigold) is a dwarf, bushy annual boasting large, double-crested rich mahogany flowers, 1.75 to 2 in. across (4-5 cm) with golden tips and centers. Blooming from late spring to late fall, the showy blossoms generously cover the finely divided aromatic foliage. This Marigold remains compact and keeps on flowering without stretching or falling over. The flowers and foliage have a spicy fragrance and have been used to deter insects in the garden. Easy to grow and low maintenance, French marigolds are excellent for beds, patio containers, or as edging plants. Excellent garden performer even in the highest temperatures and humidity.
